A wave of pop culture is hitting the new Riftbound expansion! HEARTSTEEL, the virtual boy band from League of Legends, is setting the Radiance set on fire!

It’s official! Riot Games has unveiled one of the most exciting collaborations for the fifth Riftbound expansion: Radiance x HEARTSTEEL, launching on October 16th at Cartes Léo.

Clues have been popping up on social media over the past few days, and today Riot Games confirms it: these cards will be released in the Overnumbered format, making them truly exceptional collectibles. Whether you’re a hardcore strategist or a passionate collector of rare finds, this announcement is taking the hype to the next level!

HEARTSTEEL never does things by halves, and this expansion is no exception. It introduces six Overnumbered cards (ranging from 178/167 to 183/167) illustrated by Studio Luscina, along with special signed versions.

Refreshing the gameplay

• Deploy: Allows you to play Gear cards directly onto the battlefield, even if you don't control it. The gear provides on-site effects until an opponent takes control of the zone, at which point the gear is destroyed.
• Show Off: Grants a card an additional effect if you reveal a specific card from your hand when playing it.
• Disarm: Reduces an enemy unit's Might when your own unit attacks. Disarm effects stack if applied multiple times.
