The May 1st launch of Riftbound: Unleashed is fast approaching, and this week, we're diving into the details! With the arrival of new Champion Decks and the rewards in promotional packs, we've compiled all the information and their contents in this editorial to make things easier for you.

Champion Decks: Two Distinct Styles

Whether you like to charge headlong into the fray or make your opponent sigh in despair, there's a deck for you. Forget subtlety, because these two new pre-constructed decks are very direct in their mechanics.

Vi

Vi's deck, Piltover Enforcer, is brutally powerful, a reflection of her fighting spirit. If you like pure aggression, this deck is for you. Based on the Order and Fury domains, this deck uses cards like Vault Breaker and Inferna to buff your units and strike very quickly and, of course, very hard.

It's a powerful midrange deck that becomes quite punishing for the opponent if they hesitate too much to move their troops.

Vex

The complete opposite of Vi, Vex's deck, Gloomist, focuses on control and attrition. With cards like Existential Dread and Back Off, Vex will enjoy controlling the pace of the game by forcing his opponent to delay their attacks while he quietly builds a long-term advantage.

It may be a slow deck, but it's cleverly methodical and very effective at frustrating aggressive strategies.

Nexus Night: The hunt for new promos starts with Unleashed!

The release of a new set also means an update to our promotional packs for our Nexus Night events. For those who don't know, these boosters, which contain exclusive cards, are given away during our friendly in-store tournaments every Wednesday evening. The packs contain foil versions of popular cards from all sets.

So there's a new chase card to find! Lee Sin, Centered. Good luck!

You'll also find gorgeous alternate art versions for your Runes. They'll all receive new art for the set's release.
