The most iconic evil characters are waging war, and you're in the front row. What's more, you must carry out their orders as quickly as possible to help them take control! We're excited to announce that Cartes Léo will be hosting the special event Magic Presents: A Villainous Halloween!
This event is the perfect opportunity to celebrate Halloween with friends while the kids are out trick-or-treating. It's time to bring your most thematic and, most importantly, most evil Commander deck.
What is A Villainous Halloween?
It's not a competitive tournament, but a thematic celebration around the format the community loves most: Commander (EDH).
The Theme: The goal is to play decks that embody the spirit of Halloween and/or that highlight Magic's iconic villains and creatures. We're waiting for you with your deck of Zombies, Rats, Vampires, Demons, Horrors, or Nicol Bolas, Emrakul, Atraxa, or Elesh Norn.
The Format: The event focuses on the Commander Casual format. Come alone or with your playgroup!
The Rewards
Wizards of the Coast created this event to give you an extra reason to play. At Cartes Léo, we wanted to add a special touch:
Exclusive Promotional Cards: All participants will receive a promotional card, perfect for expanding your collection.
Contest: We encourage everyone to be creative! We'll also give away a promotional pack for the winner in the following categories:
- Best Costume: Come in costume if you feel like it!
- Most Thematic Deck: The deck that best represents the spirit of the theme (Tribal Zombie, Lovecraftian Horror, etc.)
